Best Bar None Scotland - Regional Scheme Assessor Jobs

Best Bar None Scotland seek to appoint independent assessors through Scotland’s Central belt, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.

Starting in July 2024, the role requirements include,

·       Knowledge of the alcohol licensing regulations and BBN assessment process.

·       Experience of engagement with licensed premises operators, local authority, and emergency services.

·       Experience working in  the hospitality sector and committed to improving standards in the hospitality industry.

·       Access to own IT,  with good written and oral communication.

Expenses of £60 per assessed premises will be paid through host partner Retailers Against Crime. The assessment period for BBN Scotland is the end of June through to the end of September.

In person training will be provided as to the Best Bar None Scotland assessment and process.

It is anticipated assessors will be allocated between 30 and 50 premises in each geographical area.

Assessors will be directed by the national BBN team to liaise with local BBN coordinators.
